A little guidance

Where should
I begin?

The questions we hear most, answered plainly. If yours is not here, ask FOLK and we will point you the right way.

How do I book a class?

Choose an experience, pick a date and pay online. You will get a confirmation email with everything you need to know, including where to go and what to bring.

What should I bring?

Usually just yourself. Each experience lists anything extra, like a bicycle for the repair café or an apron for the kitchen. Ingredients and tools are included unless it says otherwise.

Can I come on my own?

Yes, and many people do. Groups are small and hosts make introductions easy. You will be at a table with people within minutes.

How do I become a host?

Start with one useful skill and a suitable space. Tell us about it through the Become a host page and we will help you shape a first session.

Can I book a private session for a group?

Yes. Hosts offer private workshops for friends, neighbours and teams. Ask about a group session and we will match you with a host and a date.

What if I need to cancel?

Let us know at least 48 hours before the session and we will move your booking or refund you in full. Closer to the day, we will do our best to find you another date.
